I Forgot to Tell You
I cannot believe I didn’t write on my blog that it was my birthday on Thursday because I am a big baby about everyone knowing when it’s my birthday because IT’S MY SPECIAL DAY AND I AM A SPECIAL GIRL!! Even the people who I incidentally run into know because I find some way of letting it slip. Would you like cash back? Well, probably not because when it’s your birthday, like it is for me, TODAY, other people are supposed to be showering you with dinners and gifts. So, no thanks.

Ha. I am the same way. I rarely comment, but I loved your book - it was one of those "exactly what I was needing at the exact right time" if that makes any sense. Anyway, you are hilarious and insightful and I hope you write another one! XOX
Happy belated birthday!
Now you've got me hooked on Scrabulous.
Happy belated birthday.
In my house, my family calls my birthday National Jen Day -- no, I am not making this up. I expect (and receive) far more attention than is probably healthy for the average mom, but I'm not complaining one bit.
I'm the opposite--I feel guilty telling acquaintances it's my birthday because I don't want to make a big deal about it. But my husband had better not forget!
Oh, and happy birthday a few days late.
Well, then. Happy Birthday!
Ha! I am exactly the same way about my birthday.
Hope it was a wonderful day -- and you know, some people say you should really celebrate more of a birthweek...
Happy Birthday! I'm the same way about mine - I expect those animated bluebirds from "Song of the South" (or was it "Mary Poppins?") to fly across my day with banners.
Did they fly across yours? With banners?
Happy Belated Birthday! Sto lat! (That's Polish for "may you live 100 years!") Just sayin' ...
Happy Birthday! I hope you got lots of good things. I tell everyone when it's my birthday too. I think they would want to know.
Oh, you all rock.
